so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit for death. But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.

Mike, this is fantastic, and so helpful and needed for me today, a constantly recovering perfectionist who is addicted to checklists! As I encouraged some brothers recently, let's be desperate for God to make us this way and vitally interconnected with one another to be this kind of people.
Psalm 25:4-5 is the cry of my heart today. Father, teach me, lead me - take me there, o Lord, so that my desires are wholly Yours.
Amen, brother. Amen. May God give us the grace to receive such gifts in freedom.
